Saint-Légier, Vaud – Switzerland

Living wine, bare hands, radical patience

Located in St-Légier, above Lake Geneva, the artisans of Tyalo, Tyalo make wine like one writes poetry: without a recipe, but with a vision. Coming from backgrounds in cooking, graphic design, teaching, or event management, they honed their style in others' vineyards, through countless harvests, hard work, and sleepless nights.

No owned estate — and yet, each vine is worked as if it were their own. No race for acreage, but meticulous attention paid to every row, every berry. The plots are chosen for their history, their consistency, their organic or biodynamic commitment, and their connection to the soil. It's a deep, faithful, demanding work — without the prestige of ownership, but with all the sincerity of the gesture.

The cuvées are rare, cherished, alive. They are never released before 18 months, often longer. Time, here, is a winemaking tool in its own right. Each bottle is a fragment of patience.
