A Syrah that trades muscle for nerve, and wood for steel. Born in Chamoson, aged on lees in stainless steel tanks, it retains its fruit and frankness without a hint of artifice. Nose of blackberry, tapenade, a hint of smoke. On the palate, it's taut, juicy, saline, with a slightly peppery finish that tingles the tongue. No makeup, just living juice that tells the story of Syrah in its natural form. Serve slightly chilled, with a ribeye steak, grilled vegetables, or on a night that you don't want to end. A free Valaisan wine with plenty of character.
