A single-vineyard Pinot Noir that borders on the sublime. Kirche 24 comes from the terraced hillside just in front of the Uetikon church: south-facing, lean soil, cool lake winds — a natural amphitheater that forges a precise, taut wine of rare elegance. A microclimate so singular that its refinement is already evident in the finesse of its aging in eight French barrels.
The tasting begins with restraint: the nose is still a little closed, but hints at a fine, elegant, complex palette. On the palate, the wine unfolds gently — acidic freshness, firm but chiseled tannins, delicate fruit and remarkable aromatic depth. Nothing is forced: this is a Pinot Noir that advances slowly, but lingers long.
Pair with roasted poultry, rack of veal, refined cuisine, or for an occasion where you desire a precise, taut red that showcases the full potential of the Zürichsee region.
A distinguished, restrained, and evolving Pinot Noir — a wine that hasn't revealed everything yet, but already whispers the essentials. A plot that leaves its mark, a style that endures.
