A Valaisan Pinot Noir that crossed the Rhône to be vinified in Villeneuve—and clearly found its second home. Jordi works it as he likes: without a net, without makeup, with just enough extraction and barrels already marked by time. The result: a frank, vibrant red that doesn't try to seduce but immediately captivates.
The tasting begins with fresh cherry, crisp raspberry, some dried herbs, and a hint of warm stone. The juice is clear, nervous, fluid—a taut but never thin style, with fine tannins and a character that comes from Valais, but a rhythm that comes from Villeneuve. Precise, slightly spicy finish, which holds just enough to make you want to come back for more.
Open with grilled poultry, a generous pasta dish, a well-thought-out platter, or on an evening when you want a straightforward Pinot, without unnecessary talk.
A lively, free, slightly wild Pinot Noir—a red that doesn't seek perfection, but aims true. Very noble, but never stuck-up.
