Hueberberg is the obvious kind of Pinot. The one even his 5-year-old daughter demands. A plot that yields juice that's straightforward, fruity, irresistible. Clear ruby colour, nose of juicy cherry, wild strawberry, a floral touch.
On the palate, it's lively, fluid, precise, carried by a lovely acidity and melted tannins. No make-up, just wine that flows, but also knows how to hold the note.
This year, Philipp made more of it. Thankfully. Because a Pinot like this, you drain it without apologising. Hueberberg 2022: annoyingly good.
