Sternenfeld 2023 is a Chardonnay that doesn't seek tenderness. Vinified in barrels, without malolactic fermentation, it maintains a vibrant, assertive tension. Partial maceration, spontaneous fermentation, 12 months of aging: everything is done to express the terroir, without softening the edges.

Nose of candied lemon, green apple, flint, and toasted bread.

On the palate, fine density, sharp acidity, salivating length.

It's a white with character, a bit rebellious, but perfectly controlled. To be kept or served with a substantial dish.
