It tiptoes in but takes over the space. This 2023 Chardonnay, aged 10 months in oak barrels, unfurls a chiseled nose of quince, green banana, chalk, fresh mint, and a hint of noble wood.
On the palate, everything is in balance: creamy fruit, ripe acidity, a distinct mineral framework, and a long, fresh, precise finish. A tense yet generous white, in a style reminiscent of the great Chardonnays of Jura or Burgundy, but rooted on the shores of Lake Zurich.
Perfect with a fennel risotto, grilled fish, or herb-roasted poultry.
