Sina & Matthias Gubler-Möhr

Maienfeld, Grisons – Switzerland

High-precision Herrschaft

In Maienfeld, at the foot of the Falknis, Möhr-Niggli is one of those estates that has elevated Grisons Pinot Noir to a benchmark. Sina Gubler-Möhr and Matthias Gubler-Möhr took over the family estate after years of training and winemaking abroad (Italy, France, Chile, California), before returning to the Herrschaft hillsides with a clear idea: to let the terroir speak for itself, unadorned.

Their approach is demanding and consistent: viticulture conceived as a living cycle, precise work in the vineyard, and controlled winemaking to preserve the purity of the fruit and the distinctiveness of the soils. The estate is FAIR’N GREEN certified, with a formal commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and long-term responsibility.

Grape varieties & style

Pinot Noir, Merlot, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier.

Precisely crafted, structured, often saline wines, where freshness underpins everything. Pinot Noir remains the common thread: true fruit, delicate spice, precise texture, tranquil length. Bottles that don't shout, but linger.

Sina & Matthias's philosophy

“From the moment the vine is planted, a natural cycle is influenced. Our work in the vineyard and cellar is based on long-term responsibility and a holistic view of this cycle.”
