A Viognier from the lake that leans towards Condrieu, but without trying to imitate it. Here, there's no heaviness or excessive opulence. Just the finesse of a precise winemaker who lets the fruit speak for itself.
Caressing nose of fresh apricot, white flower, and orange peel.
On the palate: volume, yes, but controlled by mineral tension and an almost saline finish. It works wonders with roasted farm poultry with herbs, a lamb tagine with dried apricots, or a slightly aged sheep's cheese.
Or, quite simply, an impromptu aperitif with quality people – the kind you keep around.
