Bâtard Arraché is the enfant terrible from Valais, aged in barrels. A dry, straightforward white wine with a tight structure, born in Savièse and aged 8 months on lees in 300-liter barrels. Unspecified grape variety, but with a strong character. Nose of ripe white fruits, fresh butter, and warm stone. On the palate, it unfolds: ample, taut, grainy, with a salivating finish. It's precise, textured, with a hint of oxidation just for flair. To be drunk with depth, with rich dishes or long silences. A wine that doesn't need pedigree to win you over.
