This Sauvignon Bärhalde 2022 surprises from the first sip: an original two-year ageing in old foudres followed by a stint in stainless steel to regain all its liveliness. The nose unfolds green grapefruit, fresh grass, and ripe lemon.
On the palate, it's clean, taut, with a discreet fizz and real salinity. An unexpected but beautifully made white, unadorned but not without depth.
Old wood, fine acidity, and that funky touch of Aargau terroir.
