Nouvelle Vague is an orange wine that takes its time — and keeps it. Chasselas and Pinot Gris macerated together, then aged for twelve months in barrels, as if to let the juice digest its momentum and find its voice. The nose oscillates between citrus peel, cold herbal tea, and mirabelle plum. On the palate, it's textured, dry, a touch tannic, with a very elegant saline and woody length. A wine that flirts with bitterness, without ever getting lost in it. Drink with grilled poultry, a miso-vegetable dish, or a suspended moment. Nouvelle Vague is not a wink, it's a direction.
