One could say "mineral," "tense," "high-altitude"... but Frassa is above all a white that brings silence. A mountain Chardonnay, pressed in whole clusters, naturally fermented, aged 12 months in barrels (60% new). Not to flatter, but to reveal. The nose: ripe lemon, damp stone, a hint of smoke. On the palate: crisp salinity, vertical freshness, a straightforward finish. A fine-grained wine with a clear profile, reminiscent of Chablis — but distinctly local. Enjoy with oysters, blue trout, or a dish that doesn't shout. Frassa is a line. And it is perfectly held.
