This Chasselas comes from the Bayel hillside in Féchy, a parcel selection long-dreamed of before being vinified on its own. The 35-year-old vines plunge into a clay-limestone soil mixed with schist and marl. The result: a saline, luminous, ample white wine that clearly speaks of its terroir.
The nose opens with ripe lemon, damp stone, and white flowers, while the tasting reveals an ample and mineral texture, carried by a delicate salinity and a fine tension that keeps the wine straight and clean through to the finish.
Enjoy chilled, with a Lake Geneva fera, an alpine raclette, or simply as an aperitif when conversations linger and the light fades.
A precise, ample, profoundly Vaudois Chasselas — a wine that doesn't seek to shine, but shines all on its own.
