Camille & Chloé Fontannaz

Vétroz, Valais – Switzerland

Two sisters, one story, and wine as a living legacy

In Vétroz, the word Madeleine doesn't rhyme with pastry, but with transmission. Founded in 1991 by André Fontannaz, the family winery is now in the hands of his two daughters, Chloé and Camille — an oenologist and a communicator, who bring a fresh perspective without ever betraying the spirit of the place.

Here, the great classics of Valais (Petite Arvine, Humagne, Cornalin…) are cultivated on the stony, sun-drenched soils of Vétroz, with a precision that rivals the great houses. Each cuvée bears Chloé's touch: rigor, clarity, balance. While Camille gives Madeleine a voice, an image, and momentum towards the future.

On the labels, a stained-glass window created by their aunt pays homage to the village's patron saint — and to the memory of a lineage. Because here, everything is a family affair: the land, the name, and the passion passed down.

Chloé & Camille's philosophy

“Making wine is perpetuating a story… and daring to write its next chapter.”
