Collection: Gaillard & Fils
Géraldine & Jean-René Gaillard
Epesse, Lavaux – Switzerland
15 hectares, 60 years of history, and still the same breathtaking view.
In Lavaux, some names are intrinsically linked to the slopes, to time, and to a tenacious loyalty to the land. At Gaillard & Fils, wine has been made since 1964 — quietly, unpretentiously, but with the patience that builds true legacies.
It all began after a landslide forced the family to rebuild everything. The house, the cellar, the project. Today, Jean-René and Géraldine Gaillard are at the helm of the estate, supported by Jorge, vineyard manager for over 20 years, and now joined by their son Clément — the next generation is here, and so is the future.
Together, they cultivate 15 hectares in what Lavaux offers that is most beautiful: Épesses, Villette, and Calamin Grand Cru. Hillsides classified as a World Heritage site, where century-old dry stone walls, limestone soils, and the light from the lake shape exceptional grapes.
In the vineyards: rigor, observation, no fuss. In the cellar: precise winemaking, no showboating. They produce honest, digestible, well-made wines that let the terroir speak. And what a terroir it is. Each bottle is a reminder that true luxury lies in the landscape and the hand that respects it.
